Leica Elmarit 28mm is one of the best 28mm lens out there in terms of color contrast and sharpness.
The current ROM version is $2000. The prior non-ROM 55mm filter thread version is as good the
the ROM version.
I have the latest 48mm filter thread version which has very similar coating as the later 55mm version. It is much sharper than the previous two version of the Elmarit 28mm. The light
and color contrast reproduction is quite beautiful.
I noticed the adapter thickness should be thinner than the standard Leica to EOS adapter.
